Common Questions about Carbon60 (C60)
What is BioActiveC60™?
BioActiveC60™ is a unique, patent-pending product that contains fully bioactive C60. No other C60 currently available can match it.
We make it in the form of a tiny edible film strip, 30 strips in a pack – portable, shelf stable. No oil to measure or leak. Take one strip a day. It is the most convenient C60 product available.
What is C60 or Carbon 60?
It is a molecule composed of 60 atoms of carbon in the shape of a soccer ball.
It is a powerful antioxidant molecule.
C60 is known as a powerful antioxidant. Why is this important?
Antioxidants neutralize free radicals and prevent the damage they cause to DNA, proteins, and fats in cells. The accumulation of damage caused over many years manifests as aging and disease.
Most of us have an excess of free radicals and not enough antioxidants to control them.
C60 is the smallest and most powerful antioxidant known, allowing it to diffuse through cell walls into cells and mitochondria where most of the damaging free radicals are produced.
Why should I consider taking C60?
C60 has been called a free radical sponge. It absorbs the unbalanced electrons and protons from free radicals, neutralizing them and making them harmless. Unlike other antioxidants, C60 is a hollow sphere of carbon, sequestering the free electrons inside of the carbon cage, where they cannot escape.
C60 enters the cells and mitochondria, absorbs free electrons, and then after a few days it diffuses out of the body taking the excess electrons with it. It acts as a sponge, absorbing, neutralizing and safely removing the free electrons.
What are free radicals and antioxidants?
Antioxidants are molecules that neutralize free radicals that are produced as a natural consequence of respiration.
What happens when there is an excess of free radicals?
Exposure to air pollution, cigarette smoke, UV radiation from the sun, cosmic radiation during high altitude travel, intense exercise and other factors create additional free radicals in the body.
Environmental factors can also reduce the amount of antioxidants produced by the body. For example, an elevated blood glucose level has this effect.
The result can be an excess of free radicals in the body. These molecules are highly reactive and will react with something quickly if not neutralized by an antioxidant. The damage accumulates over time to cause aging, disease and cancer.
What are some common antioxidants?
We can increase the amount of antioxidants in our body by eating foods that contain these, or by taking a supplement.
There is a benefit to ingesting many different kinds of antioxidants, as each works differently. Taking a lot of just one won’t help.
Some foods that are high in antioxidants include: green vegetables, fruits, wheat bran, turmeric spice, cinnamon, coffee, cocoa, chocolate, cloves, nuts, CBD oils, and C60.
How is Fuller Life’s BioActiveC60™ different from other C60 products?
Only the free, dissolved molecules of C60 are bioactive.
C60 crystals will dissolve to a slight amount in oils like olive oil, freeing the individual molecules from the crystals.
Our BioActiveC60™ product is fully solubilized, meaning that all of the C60 is dispersed as individual molecules and therefore are fully bioactive.
We alone have a patent pending on a process to dissolve C60.
We use our solubilized C60 to produce a tiny edible film strip that eliminates the need to measure oils.
What does BioActive mean and how does this benefit me?
Other forms of C60 in oils are only partially soluble and therefore only partially bioactive.
Is C60 Natural and Safe?
C60 exists naturally in a deposit of carbon in Karelia, Russia called shungite. The Romans used it over 2000 years ago to purify water and to treat cancer.
There have been thousands of studies on C60 and no significant toxicity has been found.
FDA has not evaluated the safety of C60 as a dietary supplement.
When should I take the BioActiveC60™ strip?
If you have a sensitive stomach, please take it with food.
Will it make me feel too energized if I take it at night?
Our experience is that after taking the BioActiveC60™ strips for a few weeks, it improves sleep.
Some of us find we have more vivid dreams!
How often should I take BioActiveC60™ strips?
After taking one a day for a month, you may choose to increase to two each day for the second month. In the third month, you may choose to increase to three strips a day for maximum benefit. There should be no need to take more than three per day and we do not recommend that you do so.
Is it possible to take too much C60?
Some people report a dull headache or diarrhea due to taking too much C60.
If you experience a negative side effect from taking C60, stop taking it for a week. Then resume, taking 1/3 as much as you were taking.
How do I take the BioActiveC60™ strip?
Since BioActiveC60™ is a powerful antioxidant, it can act as an anti-inflammatory, and as an added benefit, reduce gum inflammation and plaque formation.
What is the flavor of the BioActiveC60™ strips?
Do I need to refrigerate the strips?
BioActiveC60™ strips are shelf stable at room temperature.
You can carry them conveniently in your pocket or purse
The strips are good at least up to the “Best By Date” printed on the bottom of the inner package. The listed date is one year after the date of manufacture.
What are some of the reported benefits of C60?
FDA doesn’t allow making claims about health benefits, so we cannot say that our BioActiveC60™ will produce any health benefits. FDA doesn’t permit that we offer it to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.
We can tell you what has been reported in the literature and what people have reported to us.
Keep in mind that some of the reported benefits happen quickly and others are slow acting and take years or decades.
The fast-acting benefits that have been reported for C60 include:
Improved energy levels
Reduces chronic inflammation and pain due to inflammation
Enhances nail growth
Improved sleep patterns
The slow-acting benefits that have been reported for C60 include:
Reduces the level of homocysteine in the blood
Improved blood glucose control
Prevents damage due to excess free radicals caused by air pollution, exposure to cigarette smoke, UV radiation, cosmic radiation, intense exercise, etc.
Reduces the rate of aging
Who can take BioActiveC60™?
In young persons, antioxidants have been found to be protective against the damage caused by excess free radicals that result in aging and disease.
In older people, antioxidants have been shown to reduce inflammation, pain associated with inflammation and to improve energy levels.
We recommend, out of an abundance of caution, that you should not take C60 if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
Should I expect to notice anything after taking C60?
What does it mean that FDA has not approved this product?
There are hundreds of studies performed and published over the past 25 years with no evidence of toxicity. In fact, studies designed to test for toxicity, found the opposite, that the test animals lived longer than the control group.
We are committed to gathering the necessary data to file for FDA approval, but this will take several years.

What does 'solubilized' mean?
The opposite is when the molecules are part of a crystal, connected to other molecules. The molecules cannot move freely.
We have a patent pending on solubilizing C60. We are the only ones to have a solubilized C60. All other C60 products are finely ground crystals. The molecules of C60 are bound, not free.
Derivitization is a common technique used to increase the solubility of C60 in water to increase bio-availability. The C60 molecule is reacted with other materials to add hydrophilic groups to the surface of the molecule. This improves solubility in water, but the resulting molecule is no longer C60. The chemistry of the resulting molecule can be profoundly different from the original C60 molecule.
What does 'bio-active' mean?
In the case of C60, it is a powerful antioxidant molecule in biological systems, like the human body.
In order to have full activity as an antioxidant, the C60 molecules must be free to dissociate and move throughout the body, passing through cell walls, getting inside the cells and mitochondria, where they are a biologically active antioxidant.
How does C60 act as an antioxidant?
C60 molecules absorb extra electrons and protons from free radical molecules, neutralizing them and preventing them from doing harm.
Since C60 is literally a cage of carbon, the sequestered electrons cannot escape to form more free radicals.
This is why C60 is called a free radical sponge.
How do free radicals cause damage?
A free radical molecule will react with another molecule nearby in a very short time. Hydroxyl free radicals are the most reactive and shortest lived of all, with a half-life of one ten billionth of a second!
Free radical molecules can react with proteins, fats, carbohydrates or DNA, causing damage. In some cases the damage cannot be repaired and accumulates. Over many years the damage manifests as aging, disease and cancer.
How is the BioActiveC60 strip product packaged?
Inside the pouch is a cassette containing 30 individual gel strips.
